When was the work done?
In the last week of May. What was involved?
Tiling. David actually fitted a bathroom for me – everything, the whole bathroom.
How did you choose David?
Well I contacted another chap to do the job and David was actually working with him, so David was the man who came to my house ... a very personable chap, very obliging, absolutely lovely worker.
The original chap I had rang – my sister had got a job done through him and she was very happy with the work, you know, so that's how we got him and she recommended him to us. Because he had been recommended to us, we just stuck with him, we didn't even ask anyone else.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to David Pivorius?
Oh I knew what I wanted, yes.
Did David introduce new ideas?
Just with small things. I mean I had picked the colouring and the actual units and everything that I wanted. He did recommend different things to be fitted in a different way. I had thought the tiles should be one way and he said this would look better this way, and he was right. So he made recommendations and he was correct in the recommendations that he made.
How did the project run?
Absolutely great. Anything that I wanted my way he did my way. David's work is absolutely excellent. He was a very clean worker. I was really impressed with everything. Very trustworthy. I left him here in my house on his own and I went off to work.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using David?
His skill and his workmanship. The standard of his work was excellent.
What's your favourite part now?
I love the shower because there was a unit that he had never actually fitted before, it was a pod, an all-in-one thing. I wasn't sure about it and he said this would be great and he put it in, and it's just what I wanted, and he did a great job with it.
Would you recommend David to others?
Absolutely. He was very, very good. We like him so much that we're thinking of getting the kitchen done and I asked do they do kitchens and they said yes, it would be the same crew so we'll probably have David again. That's how good they were.
Any tips for other people?
Just get somebody in who knows what they're doing and somebody who can advise you.
