When was the work done?
May 2016. What was involved?
It's an old house that needed total refurb. David tiled my bathrooms. He fitted the bath and hung the shower.
How did you choose David?
A lad that David does a lot of work for, a good friend of mine, who was highly impressed with him, recommended David to me.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to David Pivorius?
We picked our own tiles and all, and we just got him to tile it.
Did David introduce new ideas?
He suggested to do the mosaic bath panel, which I thought was a great idea. Rather than just a plain white bath panel he suggested wrapping mosaic around the bath because it's a curved bath, a corner bath. It was something I wouldn't have thought of.
How did the project run?
David was there every morning – it took three days to do. He did his day's work and there were no problems. A very tidy worker.
I'm actually waiting on the mosaic tiles to come in from Italy so David will be coming back in the next couple of days to do that bath panel he suggested.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using David?
I got a professional job done. There was no messing. He said it would take him three days, he gave a price and he stuck with his price.
What's your favourite part now?
The mosaics aren't up yet, but I imagine they will be because they're beautiful.
Would you recommend David to others?
A million percent absolutely. I wouldn't hesitate.
Any tips for other people?
Pick him – I would pick him because he's very tidy. The builder thought he was a gentleman. Think the builder's going to be using him from now on, so it was a benefit having him there. The builder is a good lad and he's happy to use him, and builders know.
