How did you choose New Seasons Landscaping?
I actually know Diarmuid socially but I almost didn't choose him for that reason - just in case anything went wrong and it would be awkward. But I did speak to friends that Diarmuid had done work for and they absolutely recommended him. I trusted their recommendations and chose Diarmuid to carry out the project.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Diarmuid O'Sullivan?
Nothing definite, just a rough idea of wanting something that was easy to keep and low maintenance.

Did Diarmuid introduce new ideas?
Diarmuid gave me some ideas of what could be done and I went with what he thought was best. He could imagine the project more clearly than I could and I was confident it would turn out nice. We went together to choose the gravel because the colour was important to me and the cobbles as well.

How did the project run?
It all went perfectly, absolutely 100%. The work was completed on time and budget and we're delighted with how it all turned out.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using New Seasons Landscaping?
I was confident that Diarmuid knew what he was doing and that his style of gardens was something that I liked,

What's your favourite part now?
The grass, plants, flowers and all the colours. At first, Diarmuid put in a couple of plants that I didn't think I would like, but when it was all finished it was absolutely spectacular, really gorgeous. There was lavender and fuchsia, but what really sets it all off is the white hydrangea. One day when it was all looking particularly beautiful, I took a picture of it and sent it to Diarmuid. Every time I see the front garden I just love it!

Would you recommend New Seasons Landscaping to others?
I would yes, I would have no qualms whatsoever in recommending Diarmuid. Despite my initial worries about doing business with someone I know, I love my garden and Diarmuid and I are still friends!

Any tips for other people?
Before choosing a landscaper, I think it's important to go and see some gardens that they've done before. Make sure that their style and taste is similar to your own. Your garden is something that you're going to be looking at every day, so you want to be able to enjoy it.
