What was involved?
Essentially anything I need done maintenance wise around the house, Bernardo does it for me. He's done painting, fixed gutters, repaired my roof when we had the big storm a couple of years ago and worked on my garden. Bernardo also insulated my attic which made a big difference to the heat in the house. At this point I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on the house, I'll only use Bernardo.

How did you choose PCG Services?
A colleague of mine at work had used Bernardo and recommended him to me. I trusted the recommendation because the women who passed his name on to me is an extremely particular person. I reckoned that if she was happy with the work that Bernardo had done for her, that I was in good hands.

Have you definite ideas in mind when you speak to Bernardo about a job?
I would sometimes but I'm always open to input from Bernardo.

Does Bernardo introduce new ideas?
Bernardo has good ideas with regards to the garden. He has the intuitive ability to know what looks good and what doesn't, he's very insightful. I have a large garden and I've made some changes over the years, Bernardo has been very helpful deciding what goes where.

How do the projects run?
Let me say that there is nobody more reliable, honest and hardworking than Bernardo. When I need work carried out, I leave the keys of my house to Bernardo, let him know what needs to be done and I can go away and know that everything will be perfect when I get back.

Bernardo really applies himself to everything he does and in fact I think he works too hard. I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm not, I've actually given out to him for working too hard and not taking enough breaks.

Bernardo can essentially do anything, but for the few things he can't, he'll get somebody in and then personally supervise the work to make sure it's perfect.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using PCG Services?
The biggest benefit of using Bernardo is that he's so particular and thorough in his work, almost obsessively so. I never have to go around checking on things, I know it'll be done well.

What's your favourite bit of work that Bernardo has done for you?
I'm happy with all of it but Bernardo is particularly good at painting. I think he has the right personality for it because he's so particular. There's no mess, overlaps or smudges, it's perfect.

Would you recommend PCG Services to others?
I have no hesitation in recommending Bernardo to others and I have done so. I just hope that he doesn't get to busy to where he can't work for me anymore! I've had loads of people do botched jobs here at the house. Now that I've found Bernardo, I won't get anybody else.
