Bedrooms Soundproofing

What was involved?
It was work carried out on two separate occasions. The first rooms to be done were the three bedrooms upstairs. That project turned out so well that we called David back to do the downstairs sitting room. The problem wasn't that our neighbours were noisy but that the builders didn't construct the walls to the best of their ability. There were gaps in the wall that acted like a drum and allowed noise to come through.

How did you choose Cunas?
A neighbour and friend of mine who works in the construction industry alerted me to David. I live in a new housing estate and we were all experiencing noise problems.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to David Fitzgerald?
We had researched soundproofing a little because the problems had been going on for a year or so and we wanted to see what could be done.

Did David introduce new ideas?
He did and it was great. Dave consulted with us for 3 hours, explained everything he could do and he took away our anxieties. He was brilliant.

How did the project run?
It ran 100% and the workmanship was superb. David's work was so neat and tidy I wish I could have him over every Saturday to do my cleaning. At the end of the project the noise problem was solved and the house looked exactly the same as it did before, it was like nothing had happened.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Cunas?
Dave's professionalism both before and after the work was carried out. During the project Dave made sure that we were satisfied with the work being done and his after care service of making sure we were happy with the results was impressive. David took a total interest in us as clients and I feel like we have made a friend as well.

What's your favourite part now?
The reduction in the noise is amazing, it's 1000% better than before and I hardly hear anything now. I can't explain how happy I am with the changes it had made in my life. My house has become a home.

Would you recommend Cunas to others?
Oh, absolutely. It has made such a huge and amazing difference to our lives that I would be happy to speak to anyone if it helps them as well.

Speak to somebody who has had it done so that you know what to expect.
