What type of work did the project involve? The project was to renovate our terrace home in Marino. Included in this was a full re-plumb of the house, knocking 2 walls, removal of asbestos, insulating the walls and ceilings and a full refurbishment of our bathroom.

How did you choose MCD Construction? We saw that MCD construction had done work for our neighbours and we knew he would know and understand the type of old house that we owned and the issues that may arise as a result. We spoke to a number of builders but Mike was available to start quickly and at a reasonable price.

Had you definite ideas before you talked to MCD Construction? Yes we had a good idea of the work we wanted to have completed by Mike. This evolved as the project went on as it was easier to have structural work done at the time than disrupt our living situation had we been moved in and then decided to do the extra work.

Did MCD Construction suggest new ideas? Mike suggested using certain materials for the work we wanted done and we took his advice on board. He made helpful suggestions throughout the project also.

How did the project run in terms of practicalities like scheduling and workmanship? The work began on time and progress was made very quickly. The project did run a couple of weeks over what we had planned but we were happy to finally move into our new home once the work was complete.

What's your favourite part now? The living area has great light, having knocked 2 walls and the quality of the plastering is excellent.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using MCD Construction Mike was available to begin the work when we needed and was always contactable throughout the process.

Would you recommend MCD Construction? Yes I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to have building work done.
