Delighted With Extension

What was involved?
Christy built an extension to my house, which we use as a playroom for my son.

How did you choose Christy McCabe Carpentry And Building?
A friend of mine is related to Christy so I had already seen a lot of work that he had done for other customers. He'd also done a job for my sister-in-law which I had seen as it was going up. I knew a lot of people that had used Christy and they'd all said he was very good. I got 3 quotes and I went with Christy.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Christy McCabe?
I actually had architect's plans.

Did Christy introduce new ideas?
Well, I did just change a few bits of pieces to tweak things, and it was always no problem.

How did the project run?
I was more than happy. Christy was there every day and himself and his team were very good. I was delighted with the work. I couldn't have been happier because he finished off the garden for me as well - he didn't have to do it and I was delighted about that. He built a putting green with an artificial grass surface on one half of the garden and he paved the other half of the garden so it's perfect for my son. I would recommend Christy to anyone.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Christy McCabe Carpentry And Building?
Christy was friendly. If I wanted anything, there was no problem. For example, I only had one radiator on the plan, and asked would I be able to get a second one, and it was no problem, he put it in a corner where it wouldn't get in the way. I'd only have to say Christy can you do something, and it was no problem. Nothing was a problem.

Everyone on his team worked together well and you could see that they were all good at their jobs. They were all very friendly and nice.

They worked very clean too. Until he broke into the house, there was no mess at all. And then he cleaned up every night. I couldn't fault him at all.
