New Hotel Room D4, Excellent Workmanship

What was involved?
G&D Construction Projects createda new ensuite bedroom at Waterloo Lodge, a guesthouse in Dublin 4 by renovating an existing unused room.

How did you choose G&D Construction Projects Limited?
My architect received quotes from three different builders and recommended Alan and Ray to me as the best builders for the job. Ray had done some work previously for me in 2006 when he was foreman of a creche development through the same architect.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Alan and Ray?
The architect in charge of the project had specified what the job entailed and how it was to be carried out.

Did Alan and Ray introduce new ideas?
They did, yes. As the job progressed through the various stages, Alan or Ray would point out where things could be done to improve the finished result. For example, there was a ceiling that had been badly constructed originally and they suggested that not only should it be replaced, but that it should be soundproofed as well. The architect was open to their suggestions and feedback.

How did the project run?
Everything went very well. They're really good guys and everything they approached they did so in a positive manner. The workmanship was excellent and the place was left spotless at the end of every day.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using G&D Construction Projects Limited?
The biggest benefit was that it was a job well done with a lovely finish. I'm very pleased with how it all turned out.
