Laminate Flooring For Dublin Apartment

What was involved?
I live in a Dublin apartment and I wanted to get laminate flooring in the sitting room, bedroom and hallway and matching linoleum for the kitchen. I'm a very fussy person, I like everything to be done to perfection and I swear with my hands on my heart they did a magnificent job! You can't even see the little seams anywhere. To finish it off I got the laminate skirting to go with the floor and you'd want to see this place now, it's really gorgeous. I'm still chuffed a year on and I'll never get tired of looking at this. Everyone that comes up says what a gorgeous floor it is.

How did you choose Value Flooring and Furniture?
I work in Coolock Village just a few doors down from David's flooring shop. I asked David if he would come up and look at my place and give me a price on what it would cost to put down laminate floors in the sitting room, bedroom and hallway.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to David O'Hanlon?
After visiting David's shop, I knew what I wanted. I loved one particular laminate floor that had a mixture of colours in it. I saw it and I chose it straight away.

Did David introduce new ideas?
In my case it wasn't really necessary, when I saw what he had in his shop, I knew what I wanted.

How did the project run?
Fantastic and the whole job took only a day and a half to complete. The fitter just got stuck in and got it done. He did a magnificent job and it was no easy task because the apartment has a lot of strange shapes, angles and alcoves to work with. I don't know how he managed to do it but you can't see a seam in the floor, it's absolutely brilliant and great workmanship. Even the fussiest person couldn't find a problem with his work and believe me, I looked, I went around checking and I couldn't find one fault. Everything I've said is true, I'm not exaggerating one bit. I'm so fussy that even my son says he'd hate to be a person doing work for me but I just like a job to be done right.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Value Flooring and Furniture?
David's such a nice guy and he would do anything to help his customers, nothing is too much trouble and he wants you to be happy. When he was finished, David made it very clear that if I ever had a problem with the floor to ring him and he'd get it sorted. David puts his heart and soul into his work and it shows.

What's your favourite part now?
I can't pick just one part, I love it all.

Would you recommend Value Flooring and Furniture to others?
I couldn't recommend David higher and I don't recommend people lightly. David's fantastic and his work is second to none.
