Fantastic Extension

What was involved?
Keith did a fantastic extension at the back of the house. He did all the external work, including a patio in the back garden. Keith also recommended plumbers, carpenters, tilers, everyone that I needed.

How did you choose Keith Sheane Groundworks and Developments?
Well, I had been working with another builder, but that didn't work out. Keith was originally just doing the ground works on the job but he said he would take over the entire job if I wanted. He was fantastic, I would recommended him to anyone. Keith's a very honest man - he's got integrity.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Keith Sheane?
Yes, I had.

Did Keith introduce new ideas?
Keith has great ideas. He seems to have an answer to every problem. On certain issues, I didn't think that I could get what I wanted. Whereas Keith said to me, you can have whatever you want. He has the experience and it shows.

If Keith recommends something, you can be sure that it's spot

For example, I wanted roof windows but he suggested that I go for velux windows and he was right. With velux windows you have a better finish and a guarantee with them as well.

For my floor, he recommended a tiler wholesaler down in Ashford. It meant travelling further afield but Keith just kept saying that the tiles you get in Ashford are double glazed. Now, that they're up, I see that he was right - they look really good.

How did the project run?
Like I said, fantastic. I would recommended Keith to anyone. The workmanship was excellent. He was absolutely top class. And all the subcontractors that he recommended were all excellent and really nice guys you could trust. Keith's attention to detail is great too. The day the tiler came, Keith was there at 6 o'clock in the morning preparing. He wasn't going to take any chances.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Keith Sheane Groundworks and Developments?
The biggest benefit was that I got a fantastic job, done by someone that I could trust. I would recommend Keith to anybody.

What's your favourite part now?
The whole extension is lovely - it's big and light and airy. It brings the garden into the house. It turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

Would you recommend Keith Sheane Groundworks and Developments to others?
Absolutely. I couldn't fault him. Already one of my neighbours has asked him to do a job on her garden.

Any tips for other people?
You need to be really careful. It's difficult to know who you can trust, especially when you're not an expert. There is a leap of faith involved. But Keith is definitely one of the good guys. I just can't speak highly enough of him and everyone he recommends.
