 Established in 1985, chartered engineering firm, Hogan and Associates will make sure that your build, renovation or extension is designed and built correctly. We are directed by Michael Hogan, BE, MIE, MBA, C. Eng., FIEI, Hogan and Associates who has over 25 years experience in home and commercial building projects.

We provide a wide range of consultancy, design and project management services relating to all aspects of property for both homeowners and business clients in the greater Dublin area.

Are You Compliant With New Building Control Regulations?

The new Building Control Regulations which came into force in March 2014 have greatly changed the whole picture for 'building control'. Building owners, designers and builders are legally bound much more directly than before by the new regulations and careful advance planning is essential to avoid serious implications that can be disruptive and very costly (including enforcement procedures).

Oversight by qualified personnel is central to new regulations and the positions of 'Design Certifier' and 'Assigned Certifier' have been created to provide this oversight. Hogan & Associates can carry out the roles of Designer, Design Certifier and/or Assigned Certifier and can greatly simplify matters for owners and builders in understanding and implementing the requirements of the new regulations.
