In May of 2017. What was involved?
Our house originally had a smaller extension and a conservatory built onto it. Outwards and Upwards demolished all that and built a new kitchen extension and family room. It was a big job.
How did you choose Outwards and Upwards Building Solutions?
They came highly recommend by two different neighbours. They also showed us an extension they had done in another house and those people were delighted with their work so that impressed us as well.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Outwards and Upwards?
Yes, we knew what we wanted - my husband had drawn up plans and we had photos as well.
Did Kieran introduce new ideas?
Yes, they they did. Practical stuff like where to place radiators, windows and doors, and also what types of windows/doors would be best.
How did the project run?
They told us at the start that it was going to take eight weeks altogether and it was finished within the 8 weeks. We stayed on in the house during the work and and they did their best to accommodate us and keep the place tidy. We were very happy with the workmanship. Without a doubt they were excellent.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Outwards and Upwards Building Solutions?
That they are local and that they were all lovely people.
What's your favourite part now?
I love all of it! They also laid a patio for us in the garden and it's lovely just to sit there and look out.
Would you recommend Outwards and Upwards Building Solutions to others?
Absolutely - I would have no hesitation whatsoever on that front. I have nothing but praise for them to be honest. We're going to have them back again next year to redo our bathroom.

Yes, have a fair idea of what you want before you start.
