The work was done in November, 2014. What was involved?
Our house adjoins a public road and we had a wall on that side of the house that we wanted to knock a hole in and add a gate for access. Ilmars did that and installed a patio at the side of the house and at the back. He also built an internal wall in the garden area. The job itself took 2 weeks.
How did you choose Paving For You?
I came across Ilmars online when I saw his website. I had got a couple of quotes but chose Ilmars because I liked his manner, his quote was competitive and he could begin the job quickly which was important to me.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Ilmars Augucevics?
It wasn't a finished design but we did have a good idea of what we wanted.
Did Ilmars introduce new ideas?
Ilmars had good input with regards to our design ideas and put the finishing touches to them.
How did the project run?
Ilmars was certainly reliable, he was on time every day and the workmanship was excellent.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Paving For You?
The biggest benefit for us was that Ilmars was was very good to deal with. He has a helpful demeanor, he was open to our feedback about changes we wanted made and very flexible. As the project developed, it turned out to be bigger than what Ilmars had quoted for but it's a credit to him that he honored his original quote.
Would you recommend Paving For You to others?
I would certainly recommend Ilmars, absolutely.
Any tips for other people?
It certainly helps if you have a design completed beforehand because if you don't, things can come up that you hadn't considered and that can slow the project down.
