Fantastic Attention To Detail

What was involved?
I live in a semi-detached 4 bed house in Ballincollig. Ilmars built a completely new driveway in front, paved the side of the house and added a patio in back. It was fairly extensive in that it covered a lot of my outside area. The front driveway was done in brick paving and the patio was Indian sandstone slabs. Ilmars also added steps from the patio doors leading out to the garden.

How did you choose Paving For You?
I did a Google search because I wasn't aware of any pavers in my area. I saw Ilmars website and I was impressed by the photographs in his galleries. I looked at other contractors' sites but they didn't seem to be as good. I met with Ilmars and he came across very well with regards to his experience and expertise. He seems like someone who takes his work very seriously, I wanted a good job done and value for money and the quote he provided was fair.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Ilmars Augucevics?
Nothing definite but I visited a few places to get ideas on paving materials and design.

Did Ilmars introduce new ideas?
Ilmars gave me options to consider and had good ideas about patio designs and features such as flower beds. It was very helpful to get his input as I had no experience in this field.

How did the project run?
I would say it went very well. We started in January shortly after Christmas. After finalising the designs, materials and measurements on a Saturday, he began the work the following Monday. He was reliable in that he showed up on time and worked everyday until the job was completed. Every day there was further progress made and the site was always left neat and tidy.

Ilmars never cut corners and his attention to detail was fantastic. I'm very satisfied with the finished result and look forward to seeing it every day. Others who have seen it are equally as impressed. I got an excellent result at a fair and reasonable price.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Paving For You?
The single biggest benefit to me is the quality of Ilmars work. I saw that from the beginning with the galleries on his website and in my finished project. I now have a nice driveway and patio for a long time to come.

Would you recommend Paving For You to others?
I certainly would.

Any tips for other people?
For me, doing research beforehand and choosing materials was helpful. I also think it's important to check out several contractors but don't just judge them on price but quality of work as well.
