What type of work has been involved?
A mixture of large and small paving jobs for private homeowners and the local Council here.

How did you choose Paving For You?
I'm based in Fermoy which is where Ilmars is also located. I saw his van in the road one day, checked out his website and after meeting with him he seemed like a genuine guy. I started Ilmars out on a small job, he did well and I brought him back for more work and larger jobs. Ilmars is good to deal with, I can count on him to do a good job and he stands over his work. He has his own tipper, a mini digger and all of the things you need to get the job done quickly. One other thing, Ilmars is big into health and safety and that's not something that a lot of small contractors are concerned with.

Have you definite ideas in mind before you speak to Ilmars about a project?
Based on my experience I would usually know exactly what needs to be done but I do rely on his expertise and advice though.

How do the projects run?
What I like about Ilmars is that there are no problems and if extra things need to be done it's never a hassle, he just gets it done. As far as his workmanship is concerned, if the quality of his work wasn't excellent, I wouldn't continue to use him. Let me put it this way, we used to use a different paving contractor but since we've started with Ilmars, he's the only one we use.

What has been the biggest benefit to you of using Paving For You?
I suppose it's the fact that I can count on Ilmars to do anything from small jobs that take only a few hours to larger more extensive jobs and still give it the same level of care. Ilmars treats every customer and does every job with an eye to getting additional work in the future from a job well done.

Ilmars is really a nice guy and has a great personality as opposed to a lot of people in the building business that can be a bit gruff.

Would you recommend Paving For You to others?
I would and I have done. Ilmars is willing to stand over all of his projects and his work comes with a long term guarantee.

Any tips for other people?
Homeowners that are looking to have little extra things done in the front or back garden like retaining or decorative walls should consider Ilmars. Ilmars is happy to do those extra bits in addition to the driveway or patio which a lot of paving contractors aren't. It's nice to have those jobs done at the same time and to deal with one person.
