Good Recommendation and Quote

What was involved?
It was a full refurbishment of the bathroom in my mother's house plus installation of a new combi boiler heating system. The bathroom hadn't been updated for many, many years and it was badly in need of refurbishment. It had started leaking into the kitchen below and the heating was affected as a result. The job entailed replacing all the pipeworks and upgrading the heating system. That was done at the same time as the new bathroom. We went with a combi boiler system. It gives constant hot water for showering and general use and it doesn't need a hot water tank which freed up the hot press for storage.

How did you choose Domestic Fitouts?
I asked around. A friend of mine recommended them, he knew someone that worked with them. They came with a very good recommendation and a very good quote, so I said, okay.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Colin Clare?
Well, I'm not a DIY expert so I needed a bit of-prompting, and the options explained to me.

Did Colin introduce new ideas?
Yes,they went over all the details and suggested stuff I would I never had thought of, like the combi boiler heating system. They also suggested extra options like a heated towel rail in the bathroom. I was really happy that we put in those extra facilities while we were getting things done.

How did the project run?
They were very reliable. There was absolutely no snags at all. There was a lot of do, in terms of changing the pipework and the heating system but they sorted it out very well. All their staff and their work was very good. I really got a lovely bathroom. And the work wasn't dragged out at all. I was being updated about it the whole time- as each thing was being done.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Domestic Fitouts?
Well, for starters, the work was great. Their standards of workmanship was brilliant. Aside from that, it was the honesty of the whole team and their reliability They were very honest and helpful.

What's your favourite part now?
We went over to the house yesterday, and it struck me again, that it was a great job. I never thought I'd see the day when it would all be looking so well, and now there's all the extra space as well.

Would you recommend Domestic Fitouts to others?
Absolutely. If all the jobs that I need to get done are going to be done to that standard and that level, I'd be in seventh heaven.
