When was the work done?
The project was done in November, 2007. What was involved?
It was a complete revamp of an ensuite bathroom. David and his guys took out all of the pre-existing bathroom fixtures and installed a new water closet, bath, power shower and re- tiled it all.
How did you choose David Crowley?
I found out about them from the Pickapro.ie website. The testimonials from previous customers they had done work for, read well. The whole process of dealing with Dave Crowley was professional. They were on time, courteous and the quote for the job was delivered on the day Dave said it would be.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to David Crowley?
I did, yes. We knew what we wanted done and had sourced all the units beforehand except for a sink unit we discussed with Dave.
Did David introduce new ideas?
For the most part it really wasn't necessary as we already knew what we wanted but he was able to reassure us that our setup and design for the bathroom was do-able. When you speak to Dave you get the impression that he's speaking from experience. Dave was very professional in that he confirmed what he would be able to do and wouldn't promise to do something that wasn't possible.
How did the project run?
Everything Dave said he would do, he did and the job was completed on schedule. They started on a Monday and finished that Friday. It was all very smooth and efficient.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using David Crowley?
The fact that they are a one stop shop. When we first started looking for tradesmen, we would hear from tilers saying they could get plumbers. With bathrooms though, the plumbing is the most important part. The tiling is merely cosmetic. Dave on the other hand brought the full package. He has tilers and electricians on his team and brought them with him. With Dave I was able get a reliable plumber and project manager who was able to deliver what he said he would.
Would you recommend David Crowley to others?
Definitely, yes. We already have.
Any tips for other people?
My advice to others would be to have an understanding of what your requirements are and what you want done before you speak to the professionals. It saves time and makes things easier.
