We had a fantastic experience with Harvest Energy who completed a major renovation and extension of our home. From the first day meeting with Colin and Jason, we knew we had the right team as they listened completely to what we wanted. We needed a 'one stop shop' of sorts as we had a new baby and didn't have the time to organise every element of a build. Harvest were able to do everything, from the building work, to the plumbing, electricians, you name it, they even were able to fabricate their own windows, it seemed like there was nothing they couldn't do. Colin was the project manager and he ensured that our vision was realised and that the project was delivered on time and without any budget overruns.
All of the team came and went at different stages and were professional and friendly during our site visits with Colin all doing their bit to deliver and exceed our expectations but what really stood out for us with Harvest was the little things on the project, like extra finishing touches around the house such as replacing lights and things which weren't part of the budgeted work.
Indeed it was big things too where Harvest went the extra mile on many occasions purely because they wanted to ensure they left a top quality product behind them and because they seemed to actually care about the work they were doing, things like using real stone for our stone porch instead of cladding or putting in a radiator in the upstairs bathroom (both of these again not being part of the agreed package) and there were many other examples of this from our downstairs bathroom to the existing conservatory, where they replaced window panes at no extra charge.
They also gave us huge flexibility for picking tiles and floors and everything else within our agreed budget and accommodated our last minute decisions like getting a new roof on the house but most of all, they gave great advice when we asked for it and help steer us away from bad decisions when needed.
Harvest really are a fantastic outfit, so much so that when we go to do the second phase of our house, we'll definitely be using Harvest Energy again.
