When was the work done?
The work was done in August, 2011. What was involved?
It involved laying a patio, building a small wall and a garden path that leads to a shed.
How did you choose Genius Garden Improvements?
I found Eugene on the Pickapro website. I liked what I saw with regard to the testimonials and pictures on his site, they were very good. We called and asked him to come out and we discussed the project we had in mind. Everything looked and sounded good so we took a chance and chose Eugene.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Eugene Iarmurati?
We had a reasonably good idea but I was open to suggestions.
Did Eugene introduce new ideas?
Eugene was excellent with providing good practical advice. As we discussed the project and Eugene got a better understanding of what we were looking for, he explained what he could do and we tweaked things and made changes. For instance, we had considered adding a step out from the house onto the patio and would we tile around it or not and Eugene recommended not adding the step at all. He was right and it turned out great. Another bit of advice that worked out well also had to do with a step. We had Eugene build a path leading up to a shed and Eugene suggested adding a step up to the shed. Again, it worked out well and looks very good.
How did the project run?
Perfectly, 100% and no problems at all. Eugene is very reliable, came when he said he would and did an excellent job. The project took about 5 working days to complete.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Genius Garden Improvements?
The biggest benefit was that Eugene was able to do for us what he said he would do.
Would you recommend Genius Garden Improvements to others?
I definitely would yes, no question at all.
Any tips for other people?
Have a good thought in your head about what you want but be willing to revise it if the contractor has good advice. Talk everything through very well and be clear about what's expected.
