Stress Free Sunroom Extension and Landscaping

When was the work done?
The work began in May 2021 and finished in the first week of July. The job took about 5 weeks.

What was involved?
A sunroom extension was put onto the back of our house, the back garden was paved and the garden walls, shed and the exterior of the new sun room was plastered.

How did you choose O Flaherty Construction?
I found Pat on the Pickapro website. I had got 4 other quotations and visits from builders recommended from friends and colleagues as well. All of the builders, including Pat came in at about the same price but I just felt a good vibe about Pat when he came out. He wasn't pushy and he had great ideas.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Pat O' Flaherty?
We did have our own ideas but a lot of the builders came in with thoughts of their own and didn't really listen to us. Pat did. We knew the garden had a slope at the back and we thought that it wouldn't be a problem with regards to paving. Some of the builders were just willing to do the best that they could without fixing the problem. Pat came up with a solution that was brilliant.

Did Pat introduce new ideas?
He did, yes. Pat came up the idea of giving us a raised terrace at the back of the garden and was able to then level everything. That was a big selling point in his favour that the other builders didn't come up with.

How did the project run?
Brilliant. Pat was here every morning at 7:30 on the dot and there was never a morning missed, very reliable. He was so considerate of our neighbours and respectful with the rules and regulations at the time regarding Covid. Pat didn't try to take advantage of the fact that while working on site he could come in the house. He worked outdoors and ate outdoors. Every evening when he finished, the place was left as clean as it could be. The whole project was hassle free.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using O Flaherty Construction?
Aside from the great job he did, I found Pat to be very approachable, keen and pleasant.

What's your favourite part now?

We don't really have a favourite part, we love all of it, the inside of the sunroom and the outside garden.

Would you recommend O Flaherty Construction to others?
Yes I definitely would, 100%.
