Pawel Takes Care of Everything

What was involved?
First he sanded and painted most of the downstairs of the house and did a very good job on it. Then I decided to put in new flooring in all the bedrooms and that also involved changing all the doors in the bedrooms. Pawel also renovated the bathroom - he took out the old bathroom entirely and put in a new shower and slate tiling. He put in a window seat in our bay windows. Then just last week he redid a bedroom - replaced old wardrobes, put down new floors and replastered and repainted the room. He refitted and retiled the downstairs toilet for me as well too. There was a lot of work really.

How did you choose PK Builder?
I saw Pawel’s van in our area and rang the number on the van. Pawel came up that evening, and there was no messing about him. He arrived when he said he would arrive and he did what he said he would do.

Did Pawel introduce new ideas?
Pawel’s quite creative and he makes good suggestions but without being pushy. The living room is a long narrow room, and his colour suggestions were great. We’ve had paint jobs done before but this one is really holding up. He also suggested breaking through from our bedroom into the box room next door and making it a walk-in wardrobe. He picked out really good colours for the bathroom - I feel like I'm living in a hotel! If Pawel thinks something won’t work, he’ll say it and he has come up with some very good ideas.

How did the projects run?
Pawel and his team are very hard workers and very reliable. He’d be outside my door at 7.30 every morning but wouldn’t come in until he saw the light on. They cleaned up very well every evening. And he works quickly. If Pawel says, he’ll be 3 weeks, he’ll be 3 weeks.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using PK Builder?
Pawel can do everything and he takes care of everything. He project manages the entire job, he even bought the paint. He did send us off to check what bathroom fittings and tiles we would like but he went and collected everything himself.

You have disruption in your house of course but Pawel made it quite easy. He is a nice, pleasant guy and his team were very self-sufficient. I was able to go off to work and not worry about them. If he had a question, he would text me and I could call him back but it was very non-intrusive to my work.

Would you recommend PK Builder to others?
Yes, definitely, I couldn’t recommend him enough and I’m hoping to get him in again myself. Pawel will be my go-to person from here on. He deserves to be busy.
